The following Wind & Tide campuses are offering our Development Programs for school-age children beginning in September:
Kickstart is a bridging program for students in kindergarten that focuses on developing a foundation for reading readiness before advancing into Ready to Read.
Ready to Read is a literacy program for students in Kindergarten to Grade 2 that teaches the tools necessary to excel in all aspects of early literacy (reading, writing, and spelling). It is integral that your child meet the foundational prerequisites before starting Ready to Read. The assessment tool can be found here: https://www.windandtide.com/Documents/RTRAssessment.pdf.
Toastminors is a public speaking program for students in Grade 2 to 4 that develops communication skills and provides the tools necessary to confidently speak in front of a crowd. Students can repeat Toastminors to grow their confidence in public speaking.
Toastminors is a public speaking program for students that develops communication skills and provides the tools necessary to confidently speak in front of a crowd. This program is for students in Grade 4 to 6 and taking Toastminors for the first time.
Ready to Lead is a leadership program for students in Grade 3 to 6 that focuses on public discourse, critical thinking and applying action through leadership.
