Wind & Tide offers a variety of programs for ages 2 through 11, in Preschool, Childcare, and After-School formats. Browse the information below to learn more about each of our programs.

Please note that some of our programs, especially Preschool and Childcare, share many of the same curriculum elements. All of our programs share the same Wind & Tide philosophy and teaching style.

Childcare

Our home-like centres provide a warm and inviting environment in which children can live, learn and be loved. Highly personable staff nurture and recognize the individuality and importance of each child. Wonderfully detailed accounts of the daily joys, achievements and growing relationships are provided to parents through weekly journals including photos and anecdotes. Our goal is to live as a close, extended family during your child's time at Wind & Tide.

Age Requirement

Childcare programs are for children who are between 30 months and five years old.

Days and Times

Childcare typically runs from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday to Friday (minimum of 2 days per week)

Three-Year-Old Program

Our Three-Year-Old Program year is a spirited introduction to social and academic life, and is for children who turn 3 by December 31 of the year they start the program. This fun-filled program fully embraces and ignites a young child's remarkable ability to learn.
Classes are offered in morning, afternoon, extended morning, and full-day options, and classes are typically scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays.



Age Requirement

Three-Year-Old Programs are typically for children who turn 3 by December 31 of the year they start.

This program is offered in morning, afternoon, extended morning, and full-day options, and classes are typically scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Four-Year-Old Programs

The Four-Year-Old program picks right up where the Three-Year-Old program finishes off. It is just as dynamic, just as fun and just as enriching.
Classes are offered in morning, afternoon, extended morning, and full-day options, and classes are typically scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.



Age Requirement

Four-Year-Old programs are for children who turn 4 by December 31 of the year they start. Attendance in a Three-Year-Old program is not a pre-requisite to register in a Four-Year-Old program.

Days and Times

The Four-Year-Old program is offered in morning, afternoon, extended morning, and full-day options, and classes are typically scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Jr. Kindergarten

Would you and your child benefit from five day per week preschool? Several of our Wind & Tide Campuses now offer half or full-day Preschool programming in alignment with elementary school hours. We are excited to include these new classes and invite you to explore this popular Preschool option.
Age Requirement

Jr. Kindergarten programs are for children who turn either 3 or 4 by December 31 of the school year they wish to attend.

Days and Times

Jr. Kindergarten runs Monday - Friday, and is available in both full-day and half-day formats.

School Age Care

Wind & Tide’s School Age Care provides a home away from home atmosphere. Each day offers a wide variety of artistic and recreational activities balanced with quiet times for homework, relaxation and warm connection with our loving staff. We want each child to feel their individual needs are addressed, while at the same time helping them feel a part of a friendship group that builds their self esteem and supports their character development.
Our School Age Care Programs are offered to students ages five to eleven.
Age Requirement

School Age Care is for children in Kindergarten up to Grade 6.

Days and Times

This program is offered Monday to Friday, with before-school and after-school options.

Development Programs

In our commitment to nurture children who will make a difference, Wind & Tide offers a series of Development Programs to academically and socially enrich school-aged children through a series of programs focused on literacy, public speaking and leadership.

Tailored to children ages 5 - 12 years, these programs are uniquely designed to complement your child's educational journey during their primary and intermediate school years.
